About SproutWyze
SproutWyze was created out of a simple but powerful belief: most financial tools weren't built with new families in mind.
For people preparing to have their first child — or navigating the early years of parenthood — financial decisions suddenly become more complex, more emotional, and far more important. Yet the tools available are often generic, overwhelming, or designed around institutions rather than real life.
SproutWyze exists to change that.
We're building tools specifically for parents in one of life's most meaningful (and stressful) seasons — from planning for a new baby to navigating the first years of parenthood. Our goal is to help families understand their financial picture, make confident decisions, and feel supported along the way.
We believe families deserve tools that meet them where they are: practical, human, and easy to understand. Not jargon. Not pressure. Just clarity, guidance, and support during a pivotal chapter of life.
SproutWyze isn't about replacing human judgment or financial advice — it's about making those decisions easier, more informed, and less overwhelming for the families who need it most.
Built by People Who've Lived It
SproutWyze was founded by a team of experienced leaders who share a common perspective: we've spent our careers building complex systems — and we've spent our lives raising families, planning for the future, and navigating the same challenges our users face.
That combination of professional expertise and lived experience is what shapes everything we build.
Virgil is a seasoned technology leader, educator, and lifelong builder — and a father and grandfather who understands the long arc of family life.
He was a founding member of MyPoints, helping build the platform from its earliest days through its successful public offering. Over the course of his career, Virgil has led engineering teams at scale, including senior roles at United Airlines, Centro Media, and Sift Healthcare, where he oversaw mission-critical systems.
Beyond his industry leadership, Virgil has spent decades teaching computer science at the university level, mentoring generations of engineers. His approach to technology emphasizes reliability, clarity, and long-term thinking — principles that are foundational to SproutWyze.
At SproutWyze, Virgil ensures the platform is built with care, precision, strong security, and the understanding that families rely on it to make important decisions.
Chuck brings more than 40 years of experience designing and evaluating products that help people make informed, confident financial decisions.
His career began in the insurance industry, where he worked across actuarial, product, and consulting roles, helping organizations design offerings that balanced financial rigor with real-world usability. Over the years, he has advised a wide range of organizations on how to turn complex data and regulations into clear, practical solutions people can actually understand and use.
Chuck was also a founding member of MyPoints, where he helped shape the product during its early growth and contributed to building a platform used by millions. Following MyPoints, he continued his work as a consultant and advisor, partnering with companies across insurance and financial services to design better products, improve decision-making, and solve complex business challenges.
As a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Chuck brings deep expertise in risk, modeling, and long-term planning. But what truly sets him apart is his ability to translate complexity into clarity — ensuring that the tools people rely on are not just technically sound, but genuinely helpful.
At SproutWyze, Chuck applies decades of experience to one clear purpose: helping families make smarter, more confident financial decisions at every stage of life.
Dan brings nearly two decades of experience helping organizations clarify their message, connect with their audiences, and grow with purpose.
He has spent his career working at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and execution — helping companies turn complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
After spending years in the agency world working with a wide range of clients, Dan shifted his focus to working more closely with founders as a fractional CMO and strategic advisor. He has since partnered with startups and mission-driven organizations to help them define their positioning, build thoughtful go-to-market strategies, and create meaningful connections with the people they serve.
Much of Dan's work centers on family-focused and impact-driven companies, giving him deep insight into the challenges families face and the importance of building products that are both practical and human. As a father of two, he brings a personal understanding of the financial and emotional decisions families navigate every day.
At SproutWyze, Dan leads brand, messaging, and growth — ensuring that everything the company creates is clear, approachable, and built around the real needs of the families it serves.
